Ubiquitous throughout central and southern Mammarkay, the Tevelin are descendants of the ancient Olskir who ventured into the caverns beneath Mammarkay. Somewhat diminutive compared to the other Wergolis races, the Tevelin have little experience in warfare, usually settling disputes with assassination and subterfuge. The Tevelin have a reputation as dishonest and devious swindlers, peddling counterfeit goods and deceiving many an honest traveler. This reputation is not entirely unearned, as the Tevelin often value coin over scruples, and find themselves dealing in information among spies and merchants.
